Primary objective located.

May 20, 2019 by Carrie Schlachter

Bitterman and I were talking yesterday about hiring a woman to help balance out his heavily man-laden crew - then this morning he received a message from someone who knew someone who thought she would fit in well.  Just by setting the intention Bitterman drew in and was open to an opportunity.  What do you do when you want something? Do you set a goal, make a plan, achieve it?  Or do you continue stumbling on through day to day life hoping it will fall into your lap? Be honest.  Most of us really don’t understand how to set goals and achieve them or how powerful goal setting can be.  Just opening yourself up to an intention will often uncover an opportunity.

What is a goal? A goal can be as simple as getting up each day, getting dressed and going to work.  If you are depressed or going through a rough period in your life - just functioning as a normal human being can be enough of a goal.  In the world of self betterment goal setting and achievement is integral to forward motion.   Without these handholds in our psychic journey there are no landmarks to note our progress.  So what is a goal?  A goal is defined as the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result.  So it can be literally anything that you define as long as it meets basic parameters.  A goal should have a clear definition.  There should be a timeline aka a deadline to achieve it - or multiple.  And lastly a goal should be an attainable reach - you should have to work for it and know that you can attain it.   Its straightforward to set simple goals - so start there - see a primary objective - break it down, define the steps to get there - set a timeline - and move towards it each day.

Be liberated.

May 12, 2019 by Carrie Schlachter

How is a fart liberating?  Well, it is literally an explosion of gas out of your rectum, so it’s liberating to your gastrointestinal tract.  What does that matter?  Well, farts are indicators of many good things - firstly they mean your digestive tract is doing it’s job - processing food and moving the excess down the pipeline.  A fart is a passage of fuel in the correct direction down the pipe.  They signify to your brain ‘we are still alive and kicking down here’.  Farts often happen post meal - so they often indicate you have had food to eat - for some that is an accomplishment to be celebrated. They may indicate that something less than healthy has happened - they can be a warning system for something more sinister in the pipeline.  A heads up to head to the toilet.

Farts are socially frowned upon in most societal circles.  So the passage of a good fart can indicate that you are among friends and loved ones.   They may liberate you of people that don’t understand they are a natural and good thing.  They may weed out the faint of heart and the people who just want to be seen with you.

So how is a fart liberating?  It means all systems are go and you are surrounded by people who chuckle and smile fondly at the sound.  Ask yourself what isn’t liberating about a fart?

SMH …

May 12, 2019 by Carrie Schlachter

You might be asking - who is bitterman?  Is he a religious figure?  A financier? A self-help guru?  Bitterman is none - and all - of those things.  He is not what society would judge to be successful - in fact at the current moment he likely has less than $2000 in the bank and is changing his own truck brakes on a Saturday evening - his truck being a beat-up GMC he calls ‘The Shark’.
